Legislative Update - Flu Outbreak

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment is currently activated at Level 1 in response to the 2009 H1N1 Flu outbreak. Level 1 is full activation for public health, involving multiple divisions of the department; and multiple state, local and federal partners. CDPHE is currently monitoring for situational awareness, distributing information, issuing guidance, conducting surveillance and case investigations and managing the distribution of countermeasures.

CDPHE will continue to keep it’s website up to date with new guidance here. Here, you can also sign up for our free service, “E-Updates” to be notified when new information is posted to the website. The public may obtain information on the 2009 H1N1 Flu outbreak at CDPHE’s help line at 1-877-462-2911. Hours of operation are: Sat. & Sun. 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM and beginning Mon. May 4: 8:00 AM- 10:00 PM.
